Forsaken Soul: A Note from the Author

I am happy to finally be able to present Forsaken Soul to the world. It was a long, tough process and I feel proud about reaching the end of this project.
I started writing Forsaken Soul not too long after I completed Without Mercy. I always knew that the fourth story would be about Hiroma and I thought it would be a good idea to continue on with the prequel path that the first three short stories took on in regards to the In Search of Infinity novel series. This story is a little bit different in that this is practically the origin story of not only Hiroma, but of The Elders as well.

I never imagined it would take over a year and a half for me to complete this story. None of my other short stories, or poetry books for that matter, took this long to complete. The delay was not caused by not knowing what to write. I had a general idea of what I wanted to write and how I wanted the story to be.

What I could not account for was the period of time that I lost the will to write (this is better explained in my note about Lost Sunshine). Even in my time away from writing, I never stopped thinking about how I would eventually finish this story. I knew I needed to find the words to make everything come together in a way that made sense. As a result, my own personal life became the backdrop to getting this story back on track. I channeled my feelings and my emotions to that of Hiroma's emotions and that helped to move the story forward and finally come to what I feel is a satisfactory and appropriate conclusion.

If you are interested in purchasing Forsaken Soul, you can purchase it on Amazon for $0.99 or you can read it for free with Kindle Unlimited.
