I have recently completed book 2 from The Lost Stories and now is the time for me to start revealing some details about it. I have several points below so I won't hesitate to get into them.

The Sunset Script: A Note From the Author

The Sunset Script is the fifth and final poetry book from The MINDS poetry book series. If I were to describe what this book is about in succinct terms, I would say this book is about coming to the end of a journey. It is a book that is meant to address the topic of closure whether it is death, hitting rock-bottom or simply completing a chapter in the journey of life.

My fourth poetry book The Noon Notices is a continuation of my three previous poetry books (The Midnight Manifesto, The Dawn Dossier and The Inevitable Intermission). This book was the hardest one to write, and that reason alone will make it challenging to explain my reasons for writing it in this post.

I have already revealed this tidbit of information on Instagram but now it is time to make a formal post about it. I am releasing my final two poetry books The Noon Notices and The Sunset Script on Saturday, August 23rd. I will also make my Note From the Author post on both books as soon as they go live.

I have been away from this blog for a while but not without doing a lot of work. The Lost Stories: New Short Story Series

The Lost Stories series is an offshoot of the In Search of Infinity series. I have mentioned in previous posts that the character pool of the In Search of Infinity world is massive and while I have intentions on centering that series on six main characters, there are a myriad of other important characters that appear throughout the series with their own personal histories and connections with each other.

I am pleased to post that all of the updates pertaining to this new, updated blog design are now complete. The reason for the changes was to put a stronger focus on all of my projects and to make them all readily accessible through this blog.

The Inevitable Intermission: A Note from the Author

The Inevitable Intermission is an appropriate title to the events leading up to the birth of this book. This book was not a part of my plan originally. When I first published The Midnight Manifesto, I had only planned on writing 4 poetry books. After that book, I knew right away that The Dawn Dossier was the next natural step. When I published The Dawn Dossier, I still had the idea to do two more books but I felt as if half of the poems I had written for them didn’t fit well in either book.

The Inevitable Intermission Release Date

I have been teasing it for a little while but the day is nearly here. My third poetry book, The Inevitable Intermission will be available for sale beginning Friday, May 23rd. A lot of hard work went into putting this book together and I am excited to get to opportunity to share it with the world.

New Site Design

As you can see, I have completely redesigned the site thanks to this wonderful template from BTemplates. Of course I still have quite a few things to work out but bear with me because I am not the most proficient person when it comes to using html and it's a learning process for me. 

Birth of a Short Story

After looking into doing some freelancing over the past week, I have realized that particular arena is not suited for me and in frustration I have been writing. I mentioned in a post some time ago about how I was thinking of writing a series of short stories. By that time I had only written one story to about 90% completion but I was not sure of what I could do with it. As it stands that short story will be tucked away in the archives of my flash drive waiting for me to come back to it.

Freedom From Darkness (A Poem)

This is a poem that will be featured in my upcoming poetry book The Inevitable Intermission. I won't go into too many early details about the book other to say that the theme of coping with modern life and how it pertains to separating the reality from the fantasy. At the moment I am leaning towards this being the first poem in the book.

Post Round-Up 2

It's been quite a while since I have done a post like this. I figure that if I am going to make it a habit then I might as well make a nice photo to go along with it too. The brushes and the gradient used for this photo all came from BrushLovers. So I haven't been spending all of my time making fractals but I have been posting them in quite a few places. I've also added a few things to my Zazzle store and I'm also regularly updating my Tumblr page as well. So without anymore delay here's everything I've been working on since the last post. 

Books and Breaks

I had to take a little time to step away from everything for a moment. I am back and feeling much more refreshed. As a result of that break I now have what seems like a laundry list of things to do. Most of those things are merely personal behind-the-scenes things but some things will appear a little more obvious in the coming days and weeks when I am able to get around to doing them. I do want to address the subject of my books.

The Power of Tweaking

I have to share this fractal simply because it is so awesome but I don't have much of a story behind it. Still I will share what went into the making of this fractal here. Maybe it will be a story or maybe it will just be a couple of short paragraphs.
