Filling In the Holes

So I’m back after practically taking a week off for the holiday. It was not my honest intention to take off but family comes first and holidays are always hectic. It is always a little difficult for me to get back into a good routine after a holiday but I am hoping this blog post will be well on the way to helping me get there.

Red (A Poem)

This is a poem from The Dawn Dossier. Without giving too much away I'll say that this poem represents a few of the things we all see every day.

Post Round-Up 1

Nobody ever said that I was good with coming up with titles. This is especially true when it comes to posts. However since I've at least decided not to let my miscues in creative title-making stop from making this post I should at least tell you what this post is about.

Simply put this is just a tiny roundup on things that I have been doing recently. Since this is the first one I will see how it goes and hopefully begin to incorporate this more in the future. I am also mulling over the idea of finally getting a social media account but to be honest I am not a fan of social media and I don't know which one is the right one for me, but an idea is just an idea and I am still in the idea phase with that.

Echoes of Yesterday (A Poem)

This is a poem that I recently added to The Midnight Manifesto. It is one poem of many in the book that tries to put the manic thoughts and feelings associated with suffering from insomnia into words. It is a short poem but it is by design as all of my poems are fairly short.

Get to the Part About the Art

I've mentioned doing art and I may have even mentioned posting some of my art on Tumblr. Why not share a little bit more of that here.

The Dawn Dossier: A Note from the Author

This book is the follow-up to The Midnight Manifesto. I’m not particularly keen on calling it a sequel. I don’t believe it has elements of being a sequel. It is more of a sister book and it can be read without having to read The Midnight Manifesto.

Living Through the Glass: A Note from the Author

This book is the culmination of years of daydreams. I don’t believe too many of my teachers, professors and bosses would have been pleased to know that I spent many hours out of the day lost in thought from crafting scenarios and doodling some of the characters in my stories. Perhaps one day I may share some of those sketches, as primitive as they may be, but for now I am simply sharing the story.

The Midnight Manifesto: A Note from the Author

It is my intention to try to write one of these for every book that I publish. It is designed to hopefully give a little bit of insight into what led me to write these stories.

Where To Find Me

I mentioned in my welcoming post that this blog would serve as a hub of sorts in bringing my endeavors together. This post is here to bring all of those outside sources to one place while also offering a few incentives for those who choose to pursue them. I may try to keep this post in an easily accessible location but if that doesn't happen then the links to the sites below will also be located on the sidebar. Before I get things started I will mention that in addition to this blog, I will be posting new things to my accounts on these other sites at least once per week.

Welcome

Hello all. I'd like to welcome you to my blog. Now I have never been good with introductions so I am just going to write and breathe a sigh of relief when I am done.

To get things started, I'll say that I can be a person of few words at times and at other times I can be a person of many words. I wouldn't call myself a writer and I also wouldn't call myself an artist. Art and writing are just two things that I often take comfort in doing and recently I have mustered up the courage to begin sharing those things with others. This blog is merely the place where I can bring those things together and to see where these things will lead me.
